- Diamond Head lookout – It was the main lookout when the national television covered the tsunami in 2011.
- Waikiki Library – Not overly impressive, but very close.
- Don Quixote (bus ride) — Japanese version of a department store with a food court. A cultural experience.
- Hula Shows – Free hula performances at dusk on most nights in various places.
- Fireworks – Hilton Hawaiian Village has a 15-minute fireworks show on most Fridays at about 8pm. Nice view from the beach.
- If you have a car, try Tantalus Drive circle for nice views.
